Glaucoma consultant at San Paolo Hospital – University of Milan (Italy).

Dario Romano was born in Benevento (Italy) on 25th October 1991.

He graduated in Medicine at University of Rome (Italy) in 2017 and he completed Ophthalmology Residency at University of Milan (Italy) in 2022.

Since 2022 he is working as glaucoma consultant at San Paolo Hospital, University of Milan (Italy). His main clinical and research interests are diagnosis and management of glaucoma and ocular surface disease. Dr Romano has developed a particular expertise in medical and surgical treatment of glaucoma.

Since 2022 he is an ESASO faculty member and he serves as tutor on the Ophthalmology Residency Program of the University of Milan.

Dr Dario Romano regularly participates to the European Glaucoma Society (EGS) and the Italian Association for the Study of Glaucoma (AISG) meetings for poster presentations, oral communications and invited lectures.

He serves as reviewer for international peer-reviewed journals.
