Fellowship Selection Committee

The ESASO Fellowship Board met in Barcelona on 29 June 2012 to select the new Fellows 2012-2013.

The ESASO Fellowship Board included Borja Corcostegui, Leonidas Zografos, Nick Evans, Giuseppe
Guarnaccia, Christoph Scholda and Maurizio Battaglia Parodi. Stanley Chang was Skype-connected to
interview the candidates.

The 2012 ESASO Fellowship Programme included four Fellowships:

• Surgical Retina Fellowship at Ophthalmology Department of University of Vienna
• Surgical Retina Fellowship at Ophthalmology Department of University of Munich
• Medical Retina Fellowship at Ophthalmology Department of University of Milan
• Research Fellowship at Columbia University of New York

After a thorough discussion the ESASO Fellowship Board decided to assign two Fellowships:

• Research Fellowship at Columbia University of New York to
Mohammad Zubair Yameen ARAIN, Pakistan

• Surgical Retina Fellowship at Ophthalmology Department of University of Vienna to Janhvi METHA, India
