SCIENTIFIC RATIONALE:
A selection of some of the most useful and attractive “hot” topics in the modern techniques for phacoemulsification, not forgetting the classical ones such as extracapsular surgery and intraocular refractive surgical procedures, are presented to respond to all educational needs within this field.
Besides the theoretical updated exposition, a number of practical clinical cases are shared with the participants along with a focused “hands-on” experience in the dry and wetlabs.
Due to its dynamic structure, some of the topics change from one course edition to another with special attention to future clinical and surgical research areas which are implemented in the newer ones.
