We are embarking on an alternative and complementary pathway of ophthalmology education that seeks to integrate South American references into a borderless school by offering the enhancement of scientific and practical skills.
Our first meeting, Latin America ESASO – Day, in March 2020, has been organized to respond to the growing demand for interactivity, proximity and direct exchanges.
This meeting will be held in Porto Alegre, within the Federal University of Health Sciences (UFCSPA, www.ufcspa.edu.br). Implementation provides for the possibility of wetlabs, courses, observerships or fellowships at member sites in Latin America.
