Prof. Vishali Gupta is an accomplished vitreo-retina and uvea expert of international repute working as Chief of Retina and Uvea Services at Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research Chandigarh-India. She has lot of original work in intraocular inflammations and is the lead investigator for Multicentric Collaborative Ocular TB Study (COTS). She has 281publications in peer-reviewed journals; has edited six books and contributed 68 book chapters in several textbooks. She is a sought after speaker and has delivered more than 875 invited lectures and conducted 42 instruction courses at several international and national meetings. She is currently the secretary of international Uveitis Study Group and president of Uveitis Society of India. She has received several named awards and also holds a US patent for multiplex PCR.
