Valentina Sarao is Assistant Professor at the Department of Medicine-Ophthalmology at the University of Udine.
She received her medical degree from the University of Udine, where she also completed the ophthalmology residency in 2009.
She is actively involved in retinal clinical research. Her major scientific interests focus on advancements in imaging technology, and in diagnosis and treatment of retinal and macular pathologies.
She addresses her research interests as an invited speaker at national and international symposia.
